Artemis Resources is a mining company with a focus on exploring the Pilbara region for potential gold deposits. Based on the discovery of similar gold-bearing conglomerates south of Karratha, the company believes that the Pilbara has a third significant resource after iron ore and natural gas. Artemis is working with joint-venture partner Novo Resources to assess the Purdy's Reward tenement, with hopes of discovering similar deposits to the famous Witwatersrand Basin in South Africa, which has produced one third of the world's gold.
