Australian toll-road operator, Atlas Arteria Limited, is making waves in the United States transport sector with its 13.4% stake in 22-kilometer toll road investors partnership II (TRIP II). Atlas Arteria holds a vested interest in the Dulles Greenway toll road located in Virginia, part of the lucrative and rapidly evolving North American toll-road market. The esteemed company was once known as Macquarie Atlas Roads Limited until a rebranding exercise in May 2018. A relatively new entity, Atlas Arteria was set up in 2009 and is headquartered in Melbourne, Australia.
