The fund is focused on fixed income markets in the US and invests in securities of diversified sectors. Among the securities it targets are US government sponsored agency securities, non-agency mortgage-backed securities, asset-backed securities, and US treasury obligations. The fund places its assets in securities that are issued or guaranteed by the US government or one of its agencies, or that are rated at the time of investment AAA by S&P or Aaa by Moody's.
