Bunge Limited, a global agribusiness and food company, is comprised of four main segments - Agribusiness, Refined and Specialty Oils, Milling, and Sugar and Bioenergy. The Agribusiness segment buys, stores, transports, processes, and sells agricultural commodities and products, including oilseeds like soybeans, rapeseed, canola, and sunflower seeds, as well as grains like wheat and corn. They also process oilseeds into vegetable oils and protein meals, selling these products to animal feed manufacturers, livestock producers, and other food manufacturers. The Refined and Specialty Oils segment sells packaged and bulk oils and fats, including cooking oils, shortenings, margarines, and renewable diesel feedstocks. They also produce specialty ingredients derived from vegetable oils, such as lecithin. The Milling segment provides wheat flours and bakery mixes, corn milling products, and whole grain and fiber ingredients, among others. Lastly, the Sugar and Bioenergy segment produces sugar and ethanol, generating electricity from burning sugarcane bagasse.
