Capital Power Corporation is an independent power producer that operates power generation facilities in both Canada and the United States. Power generation comes from a variety of sources, including coal, natural gas, wind, solar, and landfill gas. The company currently owns about 3,200 MW of power generation capacity at 17 facilities, with an additional 371 MW through a power purchase agreement and 545 MW of owned capacity currently under construction.
