Dallas-based construction materials provider Eagle Materials Inc. and its subsidiaries are responsible for the production and distribution of heavy construction and light building materials throughout the United States. Operating under segments including Cement, Concrete and Aggregates, Gypsum Wallboard, and Recycled Paperboard, the company specializes in the mining of limestone for the manufacturing, producing, distribution, and sale of Portland cement, as well as the sale of ready-mix concrete. Additionally, Eagle Materials mines gypsum to manufacture and sell gypsum wallboards used for interior walls and ceilings in commercial, residential, and industrial structures. The company's Recycled Paperboard segment also manufactures and sells paperboard to gypsum wallboard industry and other paperboard converters, as well as containerboard and lightweight packaging grades.
