Equitrans Midstream Corporation is a leading natural gas gathering company in the United States, with assets primarily in the Appalachian Basin. It was launched in 2018, following a 135-year history in the energy industry. The company provides gas gathering, transmission, and storage systems, as well as water services to meet the demand for clean-burning energy in the US. Equitrans is the parent company of EQM Midstream Partners, which owns and operates natural gas transmission, storage, and gathering systems, and also provides water services to support energy production. EQM owns approximately 950 miles of FERC-regulated interstate pipelines and around 1,900 miles of high- and low-pressure gathering lines.
