Fenix Resources Limited, a mineral exploration company listed on the ASX and based in Western Australia, is making the transition to mining. Its main asset is the 100% owned Iron Ridge Iron Ore Project, which holds a JORC 2012 compliant resource and is situated around 490km from Geraldton port. Known for its high grade iron ore, the deposit is attracting premium prices from Chinese steel works due to increasing demand for pure inputs with lower emissions in line with stricter government regulations.
