Filo Mining is a mining company focused on its flagship project, Filo del Sol, which is a high-sulphidation epithermal copper-gold-silver deposit with a large porphyry copper-gold system. Located on the border between San Juan Province, Argentina and Region III, Chile, the project is located in a mining-friendly region that has a number of large-scale mining operations. The project is covered under the Mining Integration and Complementation Treaty between Chile and Argentina, which allows for the development of cross-border mining projects. The region that Filo del Sol is situated in is home to several other major mineralized trends, including Caspiche, La Coipa, Veladero, and El Indio.
