Gowest is a Canadian gold exploration and development company that is solely focused on the Frankfield East gold deposit. The company also holds a 60 square kilometre land package and is exploring additional gold targets, while also evaluating acquisition targets in the Timmins, Ontario Gold Camp. In June 2011, the company released an NI43-101 updated resource estimate that revealed a total of almost 1.2 million ounces of gold at over 6 grams per tonne. This included approximately 348,000 ounces of gold in the Indicated category and 838,900 ounces of gold in the inferred category.
