Guangshen Railway Company Limited, a railway enterprise based in Shenzhen, China, was established in 1996 and became the first PRC railway enterprise to have its shares listed in Hong Kong and New York. In 2006, the company's A shares were listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange, making Guangshen Railway Company Limited the only PRC railway enterprise with its shares listed in Shanghai, Hong Kong, and New York. The company's H shares and American Depositary Shares continue to trade on the Hong Kong Exchange and NYSE, respectively.
