Ncondezi Energy Limited is a power development company based in the British Virgin Islands that is focused on building an integrated coal-fired power plant and mine in Mozambique. The company operates through two segments: a Solar PV & Battery Storage Project and a Power & Mine Project segment. The company's primary objective is to develop a 300MW integrated power plant and mine that will produce and supply electricity to the Mozambican market. It is also involved in the exploration and development of a coal mine. Ncondezi Energy Limited owns a 100% interest in the Ncondezi project located in the Tete province of Mozambique. Additionally, the company builds and operates solar PV and battery storage solutions for the commercial and industrial sectors. The company was formerly known as Ncondezi Coal Company Limited and changed its name to Ncondezi Energy Limited in July 2013.
