Chicago-based fast-casual chain Potbelly Corporation, which runs sandwich shops across the United States, has announced plans to expand its franchise model. Under its current model, the firm operates as well as franchises its locations. The company, which was founded in 1977 as Potbelly Sandwich Works, recently changed its name to Potbelly Corporation in 2002.
