Fort Worth-based PermRock Royalty Trust has acquired an 80% net profits interest in Boaz Energy II, LLC's oil and natural gas production properties in Permian Basin, Texas. The underlying properties that comprise the acquisition consist of 22,997 net acres spread throughout several Texas counties, with 2,434 net acres in Hockley and Terry counties, 1,667 net acres in Terry and Cochran counties, 14,727 net acres in Glasscock, Schleicher, Stonewall, and Coke counties on the Eastern Shelf of the Permian Basin, and 4,169 net acres in Ward, Crane, Terry, and Ector counties. Founded in 2017, PermRock Royalty Trust has successfully managed to significantly expand its holdings in the energy sector.
