Silvercorp Metals Inc., a mining company with operations in China and Mexico, has announced its activity in the acquisition, exploration, development, and exploitation of mineral properties. The Vancouver-based company's focus is centered on the discovery of metals such as silver, gold, lead, and zinc, with key assets in the Ying project located in Henan Province, China; Gaocheng (GC) mine situated in Guangdong Province, China; Kuanping project in Sanmenxia City, Shanzhou District, Henan Province, China; and La Yesca project in northwest Guadalajara, Mexico. This publicly-traded company was previously known as SKN Resources Ltd. but changed its name to Silvercorp Metals Inc. in May 2005.
