Romanian company SNGN Romgaz SA is a leader in the exploration, production and development of natural gas in Romania. With a 100% interest in nine exploration-development-production blocks across the country, the firm produces gas through over 3,000 wells and surface facilities. Its electricity output capacity stands at 800 megawatts. In addition, the firm also trades natural gas, transports general goods and persons, conducts well recompletion, works over and tests, and stores natural gas underground. It was established over a century ago, in 1909, and has its headquarters in Medias, Romania.
