Mexico City-based Vista Energy, S.A.B. de C.V. has announced its focus on exploration and production of oil and gas in Latin America through its subsidiaries. The company's primary assets, measuring approximately 183,100 acres, are situated in Vaca Muerta, supplemented by established assets in Mexico and Argentina. Vista Energy, formerly known as Vista Oil & Gas, S.A.B. de C.V., underwent a name change in April of this year. The company was founded in 2017.
